POSITIONS
Management: Management positions, in all of our excursions, may become available occasionally. If you are interested in management, please check with us to see if a management position is available in the excursion you are interested in.
Office & Dock: Position performs both office and dock tasks. Office tasks include, but are not limited to, answering phones, responding to emails, data entry, fixing snacks, and making refreshments for excursions. Dock tasks include, but are not limited to, serving as a liaison betwen the company and ship staff and independent tour companies, seeing off tours at cruise ship docks, settling with cruise ships, and striving to sell tickets to prospective guests while on the dock. Excellent communication skills a must! Must be able to type proficiently. Position uses company vehicles, so must have a clean driving record. Must be good with general computer applications. Spelling/grammar must be good as well.
Dog Musher: Experienced mushers with or without dog teams are encouraged to apply. Duties include, but are not limited to, driving a custom built wheeled sled while entertaining guests about various aspects of mushing. Duties also include feeding & watering dogs, scooping up after dogs, and performing chores around camp. Mushers also provide guests with 20-30 minute presentations on dog-sledding as needed. Excellent communication skills a must! Must be able to physically handle very strong dogs. Must be able to lift 5 gallon buckets filled with water and carry them for a distance of up to 100 yards.
Dog Handler: Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the mushers in the general care and management of dogs (including feeding them, watering them, and scooping up after them), and communication skills a must! Must be physically able to handle very strong dogs. Must be able to lift 5 gallon buckets filled with water and carry them for a distance of up to 100 yards.
Horseback Guide: Very good experience with horses is required for this position. Position serves in 3 different roles on a rotation basis as often and as needed: driver, rider, and stay-back. Drivers greet guests on the dock and provide a narrated tour while safely driving them to and from the ranch in Dyea. Riders ensure the safety of our guests while out on the trail. Stay-backs do chores around the ranch (saddling and unsaddling, feeding, and general upkeep of horses and ranch). Must obtain a CDL, so a clean driving record is necessary. Must be able to guide guests on a 2 hour horseback excursion up to 4 times a day. Must possess the ability to mount without a stepping stool or without assistance. Must possess the strength and physical endurance to saddle between 24-26 horses at a time. Excellent communication skills and the ability to entertain a must!
Maintenance: Must have a clean driving record. Duties include, but are not limited to, repairing, servicing, and building equipment of various sorts; operating equipment such as loader, excavator, dump truck, work vehicles, etc...cutting trees, building fences, and cabins. Mechanical experience, use of chainsaw, welding, and carpentry experience are virtually mandatory for this position.
Drivers: Greets guests on the dock and safely drives them out to the excursions in Dyea while providing them with a narrated tour along the way. Drivers also rotate and serve as guides unless individual prefers driving over guiding. Must obtain a CDL, so a clean driving record is necessary. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to entertain also a must!

Actors/Actresses: We are seeking indivduals who are excellent performers for our new sled-dog theater show. Contact us for more information.
Zip-line Manager: We are seeking a manager for our new zip-line excursion. Duties will include, but wil not be limited to, managing the day-to-day operations of the zip-line excursion, ensuring staff members provide excellent service to guests and adhere to company policies and procedures, beign responsible for the training and developing of staff members. Position will also ensure the safety of our guests and staff members. The excursion is still being developed, so please contact us with any questions you might have. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and certifications in the field.
Zip-line Guides: We are seeking guides for our new zip-line excursion. Duties will include, but will not be limited to, providing our guests with excellent service, ensuring the safety of our guests, providing guests with quality, accurate information, performing general chores around the camp to keep it looking great! The excursion is still being developed, so please contact us with any questions you might have.
4x4 Drivers: We are seeking an adventure seeking individual who can drive a Mercedes, military-issued, 4x4 Unimog while transporting guests up and down the mountain to either our Musher's Camp or our Zip-line excursions. Mechanical background is preferred but not necessarily a must.
